Introduction:-

Manipal University Jaipur was established in 2011. It is one of the constituent universities of the Manipal Education Group. The university offers Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Doctoral programs in streams like Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Hospitality, Humanities, Journalism and Mass Communication, Basic Sciences, Law, Commerce, Computer Applications and more.

Manipal University Jaipur is recognized as a private university by UGC and its programs are approved by AICTE, BCI, and CoA. Situated on 122 acres of land in Dehmi Kalan village near Jaipur, the university boasts modern infrastructure including audio-video-aided classrooms, state-of-the-art research facilities, and a modern, digital library.

For outstation students, the university has hostel facilities for more than 5900 with facilities including centralized HAVC, WI-FI connectivity, gym, sports facility, CCTV surveillance, etc. There are separate hostel blocks for boys and girls.

Manipal Education Group consists of five universities:

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE, Karnataka), Sikkim Manipal University (Sikkim), American University of Antigua (Caribbean Islands), Manipal International University (Malaysia) and Manipal University Jaipur (Jaipur). Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) was started in 2011 on the invitation of the Government of Rajasthan as a self-financing state university.

Manipal University Admission:-

Admissions to UG courses are made on the basis of students qualifying for the MAT certificate exam conducted by Manipal University Jaipur. Students must have passed their 10+2 as it is the basic eligibility for the university.

Candidates who have passed 3 years Diploma in the relevant field of Engineering / B.Sc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks can opt for Lateral Entry B Tech courses available here. Admission to PG courses is merit-based. Applications can be made through both online and offline modes.

Manipal University Placement:-

The placement season of 2017 started in August 2016. As of January 2017, around 50 companies have already participated in campus placements for our 2017 batch out. Companies include Sapient, Dell, Directi, Amazon, Gram Power, Mettl, SAP Lab, Think and Learn, Secure Meters, Appirio, and Metacube. Not only for Engineering and Management, but many reputed companies like Genpact, Tata Consultancy Services, and Tech Mahindra have visited us for our BBA and B.Com students. MBA placement session has also started recently with ICICI Bank, SG Analytics, Axis Bank, ITC, Bharti Airtel, and Pepperpedia.

The college regularly trains its students on essential hard and soft skills so that they gain confidence and skills before appearing for the interview. The training process starts in the seventh semester itself. In the current year, it has helped the students a lot to refresh their ability and quantitative skills and thus clear the first round of the test. We have regularly conducted Mock GD and Interview sessions to make our student's job ready.

An Industry Academy Meet was organized on the campus in association with Security Matters. It was attended by a lot of students and as a result, they now have an insight as to what to expect after graduation. 

An MoU has been signed with Dell where our students will be invited for live projects, internships, and industry-academia sessions.

A number of industry-oriented trainings on the latest technologies like IoT (Internet of Things) have been flagged off at the campus in partnership with companies. The college believes in MUJ being a university not a placement agency for its students. We provide career services and career guidance to our students to launch them in their right career path.

Moving in that direction, we regularly organize Higher Education Summits and provide opportunities for our students to explore higher education in India and abroad. Recently the Dean of the University of Kansas, USA interacted with our students who want to go abroad for further studies. Professor Bhuvnesh Pandey from IIM Indore visited MUJ and briefed the students on Fellowship Program in Management which can be done directly after graduation. It was of interest to the students who are interested in education and consultancy jobs.

Manipal University Facilities:-

• Hostel Facility- Well-furnished hostels are available for the students in the university campus providing accommodation for 220 students. Both double and single bedded rooms are available with all the necessary amenities for the comfort of the students.
• Library- The University has a library providing a seating capacity of about 80 students. There are more than 1 lakh books on engineering and technology, 29 well-known newspapers, and magazines related to various subjects.

Manipal University Jaipur Placements 2023 is concluded with 98% placements. Students received more than 1479 placement offers. Manipal University Jaipur's average package stood at INR 7.5 LPA. The Engineering batch received an average package of INR 9 LPA. More than 355 students were placed with a package of above INR 9 LPA. 9% of the total offers were above INR 30 LPA. The framework of imparting education is different 

The curriculum of the University is prepared after approval from the Board of Studies on various subjects on the basis of feedback received from students, parents, teachers, and industry and academic experts.

Along with this, the curriculum of various subjects is also changed according to time and need, the curriculum is designed in such a way that it includes an employment-oriented curriculum along with conceptual and practical education. 

The University has adopted the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) system and offers credit exchange programs for students to study in prestigious foreign universities. Students are allowed to register for multiple electives and have optional subjects from various disciplines There are options to choose from. Experts from industries are regularly invited to address the students and give them an industrial perspective important to the curriculum. The environment here prepares the students for challenges at all levels.

National and International Level Skill Training

MUJ has signed several agreements with reputed national and international educational institutions and various companies to provide job opportunities to students at a global level. The University has set up an Entrepreneur Cell and provides support to start-ups. The University has established the Atal Incubation Center which is financially funded by NITI Aayog. 

The Department of Science and Technology, Government of Rajasthan has acknowledged the university as a Center for Excellence and designated it as a Center for Technical and Training. Student-friendly university environment

Good infrastructure facilities are provided to the students at Manipal University Jaipur. These facilities are provided according to the educational needs of the students such as ICT and Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, state-of-the-art equipment for laboratories, Architecture Studio, FineArt Media Lab, Language Lab etc. Available for students from 7000 to Even more laptops/computers are available and supercomputing facilities such as PARAM-SHAVAK are also included. Some of the laboratories here have been built in association with corporates like C-DAC, Bosch, Siemens, and Rexroth. The university campus is air-conditioned and electricity generated from solar energy is used extensively. Along with this, for the safety of the students, CCTV cameras have also been installed on the entire campus.

There is an indoor and outdoor playground for the students for better physical and mental health. Apart from this, there are two multimedia ACs here. An auditorium and an amphitheater have also been built.

Better placement and career options 

A placement cell has also been set up here which helps the students to get placements on time. Most of the students get a job as soon as they finish their studies here. While 20 percent of the students move towards higher education instead of jobs. Like every year, in the year 2019-20, the students here have been offered a good package, under which the highest and average package offered is Rs. 42 lakhs and Rs. 6.02 lakhs per annum respectively. 27 companies from Fortune 500 companies visited the campus for placements.
